How to use

With our interactive chrome extension, you can bring your coloring skills to life like never before. Choose from a wide variety of pixel art designs, ranging from enchanting landscapes to adorable animals, and watch as each pixel comes alive with a burst of color.

• How to Install the Pixel.me Extension in Chrome Browser?
  Сlick the "Add to Chrome" button from the website. Alternatively, you can find the extension by searching its name in the Chrome Web Store's search bar. After installation, don't forget to pin the extension in the toolbar for quick access. Watch instruction
  
• How to Use the Pixel.me Popup Window?
  Launch the extension by clicking its icon. In the popup, you'll find three sections at the bottom. The first section contains a collection of ready-made images with numerous categories and images to suit any taste. The second section displays images that you have already fully colored as well as those in the process of coloring. The third section provides a menu for creating your own pixel art images. There are two options:

  • Take a selfie and edit it in the image generator
  • Upload any image and edit it in the image generator

• How to Utilize the Image Generator in the Pixel.me Pixel Art Extension?
  By clicking "Upload," you'll enter the pre-editor. Crop the image to the desired size, zoom in or out using the mouse scroll. If you're satisfied, click "Apply." In the editor itself, adjust the pixelation of the image using the "Complexity" slider and the number of colors to be used. When everything is ready, click "Draw." For selfies, the extension will request access to your camera, grant it to use this feature. Watch instruction
  
• How to Color the Image by Colors in Pixel.me?
  Select the desired color and start coloring the cells corresponding to that color in the palette. If you make a mistake, you can undo the coloring by right-clicking the mouse or recolor the cell with the correct color. To the right of the palette, you'll find the toggle switch for "Drawing" and "Moving the Image" modes. You can zoom in or out on the pixelated image by using the mouse wheel. In the top right corner, additional options include:

  • Autosave the result.
  • Highlight the selected color.
